Baker's Cyst Aspiration and Injection
Let's say you have a patient with a long history of osteoarthritis who presents with worsening pain in the back of her knee. You astutely diagnose a Baker's cyst. She has become accustomed to opioid injections for acute exacerbations of OA related pain with a follow up Norco script. Is the there an alternative to the opioids and ortho referral plan?
